Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his character on the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. From his early college days Meloni became interested in acting. He then studied at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in TV and film but his performances on small screens are what brought him much recognition. He can play each of the characters on behalf of police officers and other. This is the reason that has made him so popular. He was the character of the serial killer on his debut television show and later played the role as an NYPD detective.
